@lyricalPillow74 Sleuthing can be almost anything. From personal to work. I like to piece together stories and find things. For example, and this is a small one, my best friend was almost engaged 10 years back and broke off her relationship. She called and I came over to her house, which at the time she shared with her ex-boyfriend (he'd been temporarily relocated due to the falling out). During her sobbing she tells me that he mentioned purchasing an engagement ring for her, but she didn't think even that was real. I just started turning it over in my head. I felt she needed to at least have affirmation that the impending engagement wasn't just another lie. I walked around their house and ended up in their bedroom. I did a once over of the bedroom and luckily I knew the guy pretty well, so it was as simple as asking myself if I were him, where would I hide a ring. Five minutes later, I was in the floor in front of his bedside table, drawers pulled out on the floor and feeling around under the table. I felt a box taped to the underside. I flipped the table over and there it was. Ring box taped to the bottom of the bedside table. She was able to see he hadn't lied to her about that at least, so that gave her a little peace. I can find people with very little information. Most people have a social presence on the internet and it's moderately easy to track people down based on interests, partial names, screenhandles, locations etc. I just like knowing things I guess. Probably not what comes to mind for most people when they think of sleuthing. I'm just good at figuring out puzzles/mysteries/finding the missing pieces. . .I've done this with lots of things. Just retracing steps and paying attention to the small details.
