Forgiveness Day 17th July 2023
Welcome everyone to Forgiveness Day! 🎉
Let's celebrate it with Icebreakers 😊
* What's something you would like to let go by forgiving someone or yourself?
* What do you sense to be the main obstacle for you to forgive?
* What are in your opinion some positive aspects of practicing forgiveness?
* Is there a thought you would share to express your forgiveness?
Happy Forgiveness Day to you!
I want to forgive my younger self for all the mistakes she’s made.
I also want to forgive my younger self for all the trauma she was put through and for having to no one to trust making her deal with it alone..
@ghettosmurf I understand. Our abusers abused us and blamed us for that abuse, so the first step is lifting that blame through forgiveness.
Blame was wrongly assigned; the abusers are responsible not you.
Hang in there!!
Thank you..

That's a big step, so proud of you 💙
@MeaningfulSilence oh this is a hard one. I guess I want to forgive myself, I know I couldn't do anything back then. I was a slave for 18 years. They killed my son😞 I will never forgive my 24 owners. But I wish I could forgive myself, I feel a lot of shame, and embarrasment. But I shouldn't I want to forgive myself
