Overcoming Poor Fitness/Depression/LowEnergy

So another new year rolls around
And I find myself setting another new years resolution where I am going to get fit this year
I have had low energy , constant tiredness all my life it seems
Every time i go to a gym class .. i need a few hours nap to recover. I am constantly craving sugar to get energy hits .. but i am putting on weight at the same time , my old preferred clothes dont fit
My bmr is low .. about 1100 kcal a day .. this can get up to about 1800 if i do gym classes and walk about 5 to 10 k
Has anyone pushed through and transformed their fitness
Any tips that made the difference??

Sorry for the struggle. Have you talked to a doctor at all? There is a chance that you have some kind of metabolism issue that would explain everything. Sometimes it isn't your fault.
But then I would start small. Eat a little more healthy most of the day. Do walking or something basic as exercise until you can work towards major gym exercise. The key above all is to be consistent and do the same thing every day for a few weeks. @redNest4346
Thanks @bestvase7265
I do have thyroid issues (hypothyroid) .. but i have been taking medication for several years and all my tests come out normal
I feel so good after doing exercise mentally and yet I am so sleepy and achy that i find it hard to function
From what i have read .. if i can build up my lean muscle
Thish should help to bring up my base bmr
Its having the willpower to push through
Im definitely trying to do the little steps each day
Consistency has never been my strongest point :)

Consistency is hard for all of us. We just keep trying. One of my exercises is pretty simple - get myself down onto the floor and back up again once per day. It was a New Year's resolution. You know the number of times I have forgotten in just 18 days since the start of the year? But I just keep at it and force myself to do it 3 times if I forget.
You can do this. And I am willing to be here to cheer you on if you want. Feel free to write back any time you need a boost or just want to celebrate a victory. @redNest4346
