Dreams I can't remember... or they happening?
So over past couple months... I cant seem to dream or remeber my dreams. Not even nightmares. It just feels like I am feeling depressed as I can't even dream good dreams. Nothing to escape or face. Distract or confused me. Or anyhting... its like I lost connection with myself. Idk if it's depression or something else but I would do anything to dream again.
@Vivikun9 Hey, I understand how lost you must be feeling. I myself have gone through a period of a couple months where I did not experience dreams either. I'd suggest researching symptoms of depression and feeling whether you feel the same or not. Life can be extremely stressful at times and sometimes we don't even have the time or energy to even dream. Try talking to your friends if they have advice or knowledge about depression or other conditions. I just want to let you know that it is perfectly normal to have depression, almost everybody experiences it at some point of their lives. Just be you.

It is an interesting symptom of depression. I have never been able to remember my dreams my entire life with or without depression. What did your dream memories give you in the past?
What does your depression feel like when you are awake?@Vivikun9
@bestVase7265
Depression to me is like. Feeling hopeless and just numb feeling. Stuff I love and desire just seem... idk I can't have it.
Those symptoms sound quite normal. It is kind of like being behind a thick sheet of plastic or something.
I had to experiment with lots of different new activities before I started to find some that helped. What kinds of things are you trying?@Vivikun9
@Vivikun9
Might be...
Anyway, dreams fade super fast once you awaken.
To have the best chance to catch your dreams, keep a notebook and pen beside your bed and at the moment you start to awaken, write down what comes to your mind, without asking for meanings, or editing.
Maybe this might help you start remembering your way dreams again.
@HealingTalk
I could try that.
@Vivikun9
I am glad that you found the idea useful, or intriguing at least.
All the best!
