A Random Sunday Hug
Everyone loves sunrises. It's the beginning of the day, often associated with something new, fresh, and exciting. True, I'll admit. I love waking up before sunrise to get the most of my day and enjoy it to the best.
But, I seldom see people celebrating a sunset. To me, a sunset depicts...closure. Good or bad, everything needs closure. Everything comes to an end and has to come to an end. Without that hope, I just can't find myself looking forward to another day. Hope is what drives me and keeps me sane, and in a way, it's what I've latched onto whenever I was having a rainy day.
So this is just a tender reminder that I hope may work for someone:
Sunrise and sunset, day and night - if something as great as a cosmic entity has a beginning and an end, why won't your biggest problems? Anything you can't control - leave it. Hold the things you can control very close to your heart. Your tears matter, and: you're not broken by any means. All you are is a human. So cry your heart out. Scream as loud as you can into that soaked pillow. At the end, when all the tears are out, spare a moment for "what's next?". Maybe the solution will suck or maybe there is none, but looking even for a cheap shot may be a better one than what you're going through today. Just some food for thought.
I know that it won't work for everyone, so feel free to grab hugs at least on your way out <3
