Daily Depression Support Check In: February 6th, 2021
Hello, beautiful people, I hope you are doing well!
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts."
Here are the daily check-in questions:
1. What are your opinions on the quote above?
2. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
3. What steps would you take to get to where you want to be?

1. What are your opinions on the quote above?
I’ve seen the quote so many times recently that I’m tired of it.The points made in the quote are true.
2. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
I don’t know.I’d like to be living in Oregon, or on a Pacific Territory.I want to be living with Chloe the cat, and maybe a significant other.
3. What steps would you take to get to where you want to be?
All I can do is try to be a cleaning lady because I’ll be paid for it, pay down my debts, and save as much money as I possibly can.
1. What are your opinions on the quote above?
I think its fairly accurate; whenever I'm finally successful at something it doesn't ever seem like its enough because there's always something else to complete. A failure can be moved on from, and so on.
2. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
Maybe working. It probably might not be the job I went to college to get a degree for, but at least it would mean I have money coming in. Hopefully I wouldn't be eventually fired or let go for my disability.
3. What steps would you take to get to where you want to be?
I'm already trying. I'm speaking to the Work Incentive Planner and Business Specialist the DOR referred me to after I graduated with my BA and certificate. I've spoken to Ticket to Work, which also offers incentives to get the disabled back to work. The next step after I'm sure my Ticket has been activated would be to start applying for jobs with the Business Specialist's assistance.

Thank you for sharing! I wish you the best in your journey. It seems very promising and looks like you have goals, which is great! I hope you get to where you want to be and get that degree!

Oh, I already have the degree. I graduated last May with a BA in Rhetoric and Composition and a Professional Writing certificate. Its just really hard to get a job in technical or professional writing (especially because of the pandemic that started just as I was about to graduate) so I'll have to develop more experience and flesh out my resume.
1. Success cannot not defined in your life. 2. Hopefully 5 years into me overcoming my depression and self talk in my head. Hopefully still married to my love and able to over come the insecurities I have in my marriage. 3. Continue to work on my self and make my self happy. I am responsible for my own happiness.
I don't fully agree with the quote, but I do understand what is trying to say I just want to be successful in whatever join I decide on. And maybe have my depression and suicidal thoughts more in check. Work hard and dedicate myself and work now on my mental health.
1. What are your opinions on the quote above?
I resonate and agree with the quote. Sometimes I have a hard time feeling it, but it's true.
2. Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
In the next five years I'd like to have gotten over my driving anxiety, and finally get my liscence as well as get a new and better job. Hope my art patreon is doing better and that I am making art that I'm proud of.
3. What steps would you take to get to where you want to be?
There are a lot of steps and at the moment it feels overwheliming to even list them out.
