Especially grateful today

amicableox0685 May 10th

I'm usually a rainy weather type person mostly because traffic isn't heavy and things are quiet, not to mention rain is just peaceful...

and so the rain came in early this morning around 7a.m.

I usually turn the porch light on so it won't be so gloomy looking for the neighbors and I.

As the rain stopped there was still an overcast.

It's quite majestic...

I didn't take a picture of that though because I'm mostly in my bedroom.

Here's a photo I took, as I post this its about headed towards night time.

The local mental health center moved me out here back during 2018. When I moved into this apartment it wasn't too appealing but the apartment manager let me do what I want with it, making sure not to go overboard.

They've been so patient with me. I mean just a few weeks ago I caused a accident that destroyed the roof in the downstairs apartment. Thankfully it isn't too costly.

...and while I've been living here I made sure not to give up on the place or myself. I said it back in February that deep breathing will be how I got over my bad habits.

It's almost two weeks and when I'm feeling heavy I revert to that, and it works!

I'm not perfect but Ive had a burden lifted off my shoulders. A very heavy burden that affected my health.

God bless 7 Cups.

I'm glad your efforts to improve your life are working out so far, but...I just gotta ask. What did you do that damaged the ceiling of the downstairs apartment?? Did it involve a lot of water or...?

@slowdecline48

I was trying to tighten the plumbing under the sink. Partly my fault cause I was aggressive that night, partly due to the plumbing being old.

H€ll, that ain't so bad...at least you were trying to fix something. That's better than some tenants I've seen. I speak as a fellow tenant, btw.

Right, taking the initiative to pay for it can get you incentives sometimes when things get tough. That's why I try to at least pay for it rather than making the maintenance bust his a for simple crap.
