Which first language makes it easier to learn the most number of other languages?

What language do you guys think, if being your native, would make it easier to learn the most number of remaining languages in the world.

Esperanto is definitly the easier language to learn! with fewest rules and no exception!

@DragoBludvist it's not my primary but my sister learned it and a bunch of others off it, so id say dutch is the closest to being an even mix of all latin based languages

I think Spanish was a great stepping stone into the Romance languages. I found it easier to learn French, knowing that I spoke some Spanish.

I have been learning Spanish since kindergarten, so I might be biased, but with German/Dutch and Spanish/French, its easy to at least comprehend most Latin based languages.
