Any Psychology students here?
I would like to see how many Psychology students are here! It would be also interesting to see how studying Psychology differs from one country to another. Could you write a little bit about your experience as a Psychology student (and mentioning the country you are studying it in)?
Hiya @happysunflower94 you've got such a lovely username!🌻
I think there's manyyyy psychology students here, (for instance here: https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/?badge=&find=Psychology&sort=&ageGroup=&listType=listener&country=&category=&gender=&religion=&language= so many listeners have mentioned in their bio, either being a psychology student or wanting to), though I feel, reaching via forums maybe a hit and miss at times, for people to see the posts unless they come across it or tagged!
I hope those that come across can share!💛
Are you studying psychology?
Hi @Sunisshiningandsoareyou, yes, I finished my degree this year! Thank you so much for the link, I will check it out! :)

@happysunflower94 Hey! I recently graduated with a major in Psych from a college in Michigan, USA. It was a pretty cool experience and I never really took a psych class before college. A lot of courses like Personality Psych, Counseling Psych, Cognitive Psych, Social Psych, Cultural Psych, etc. and I feel like I learned a lot but the pandemic put a gap in my experience that I can't really remember too well. Overall, it was a neat balance of easy-going and challenging. Things got easier with time and experience and every class built towards understanding the other classes. We were able to create our own experiements, some worked with lab rats, and others did life studies that looked at qualitative data over quantitative.

Heyo! I'm a 4th year psychology student studying in BC, Canada. At my university, they only offer BAs in Psychology so my studies are primarily art based.
@happysunflower94 hello there👋 I just graduated with a BS in psychology and neuroscience. I am from the US. From my experience I can tell you they offer classes on several topics, some are more general such as social psychology, research methods, and lifespan development but other classes are designed to be more depth on specific topics. One of my favorite classes was a seminar on stigma but others can be personality, industrial psychology, and so much more. It's really hard to capture everything that there is to learn. Not to mention, my school requires two research experiences and an internship which is a lot of fun
Not a student anymore. Just graduated !
