I'd like to think the best has yet to come! but I have many wonderful memories having heart to heart talks with a friend on the beach and on the top of mountains :)

I travelled to a new place and allowed myself to be free. I made a lot of friends there and felt comfortable in my skin and encouraged!

@Sanghee

That sounds amazing! It's just so great to be yourself.

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Both times I ran away.

The first time I was trying to draw attention to myself and the fact I needed help so I ran away from home. The actions my mother took towards this made me realize that I was better off moving to my dad's house (who at the time I didn't know). This helped me on my path to recognizing abuse.

The second time I was engaged (not entirely by choice) and they were extremely abusive. A friend who had observed the fights and sat through 6 hour panic attacks with me, overhead me say that I just wanted to pack my stuff and go. He asked me why I didn't just do that. I told him I couldn't do it alone so he said he'd come with me. We left that night, choosing homeless over abuse and I've never been happier. I am currently willfully and happily engaged (I proposed) to this friend and (at his insistence and my agreement) are going through couples counseling so that we don't unintentionally repeat any of the abusive behaviors we witnessed and ran away from.

I moved to my current school- at my first school they didn't make allowances for my medical condition and as a result made it so much worse and at the second I was bullied by a very manipulative girl. I moved to my new school and I am so much happier, and I know that there are people there to support me.

part of what gives me the strength to keep going is the hope that things get better and better, so whatever my best moment is right now will be surpassed by something even better and then by something even better! i'm pretty young, so i'd like to think that my best memory isn't something from my teen years :)

sorry for the cop-out, but that's what i think!

The best thing that happened to me is my wife whom has been my rock, best friend, comforter, strength, lover, & so much more.

My nephew being born gave me a sense of purpose in a time in my life that I was really spiraling. Not to mention he's so cute!!!
