Bio

Short Biography:

Hi! I'm a 30 years old active listener from BELGIUM.

While currently pursuing a career in psychology I did noticed something very interesting. The DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical manual of mental disorders) lists almost every disorder and yet it doesn't define a "Normal Human”. I’m not a fan of putting a label on a person and I don't like words like mental - “illness" or "disorders"... I approach a listeners personality and I'm interested in how your personality makes you feel...

I have a fulltime day time job and as you might be able to imagine, I coach and train people in the company I work for.

Currently I'm studying Clinical Psychology at the open university.

Feel free to talk to me about any subject.
I have experience with personality disorders including borderline, bipolar, narcism, and anti-social behavior.

Favourite quote:

“Since we are destined to live out our lives in the prison of our minds, it is our duty to furnish it well.” ―Peter Ustinov

My 7cups Twin:

Meet @Vapiano! This person is a very talented listener and I consider her a true friend. She is empathic, energetic, intelligent… Her personality is mesmerising and her heart is made of gold..

A great resource on NPD and Treatment (Elsa Ronningstam, Ph.D.)

...See more Dear Members, Listeners I've talked to quite a lot of members who have been diagnosed with a cluster B personality disorder and it can be challenging to build a constructive (long term) L-M relationship for those who do not really understand the topic. While I could share my personal insight based on my knowledge and experience I believe it is better to share one of the more important studies that helped form my opinion and approach. When try to gain insight into NPD there's a chance you stumbled across Sam Vaknin's Youtube channel [https://www.youtube.com/user/samvaknin]and it does contain a lot of valuable information. His insight is valuable because has been diagnosed with the personality disorder and wrote a book about his experience. Another treasure of a resource is a study written by Elsa Ronningstam Ph.D , "A brief overview of identifying, diagnosing and treating Narcissistic Personality Disorder". I consider this paper one of the most accurate regarding NPD in general and it also focusses on treatment for the personality disorder. The paper is published on http://www.borderlinepersonalitydisorder.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/NPD-Basic-Second-Edition-In-Print-03-2016.pdf Feel free to share your opinion about this resource;
