Appeal to me!
Appeal to me, all of you!
Lived 7 floors above a Mexican Restaurant in New York City,
Their spicy guacamole, their house margaritas... It pleases me.
Makes me happy.
So early on the bus that it's dark outside,
Sitting next to my friends,
All excited for the field trip,
This memory makes me happy.
Every crush, every kiss,
Every moment with people I like,
Every time I don't mind being alone,
Every time I can feel results, progress,
It makes me happy.
Being lucky makes me happy,
And what makes me happy more than anything,
Is being able to enjoy the little things.
What makes me happy?
Well, a warm meal after a long day
A cool breeze and the sun on my skin
Seeing my friends suceed, and find their own happiness
Finally figuring out a puzzle
Acting far too young for my age and not being judged
Costco ice cream with my mom
Going out to work with the bees and all of their gentle warm buzzing and aromatic comb
Joking with my found family until I can't breathe anymore, bent over and wheezing from laughter
Settling down into my bed and everything feeling just right
And, her
I really can't avoid talking about her in a propt like this, and why would I want to avoid it?
I'll repeat again and again her sweet, sweet love
Every moment with her is happiness tenfold
Every little and big thing about her, I could go on and on
Daily life can certainly be a chore at times,
But the sparks of joy throught make every trial worth it.

In the realm where hearts entwine, There's a love so pure and divine. A love that flows like a gentle stream, For helping hearts, it's a cherished dream. With furry friends by my side, I roam, Their wagging tails, a joy to behold. In their presence, my spirit takes flight, A bond unbreakable, day and night. On canvas bold, colors dance and swirl, Expressing emotions that within me unfurl. Through art, my soul finds solace and release, A symphony of hues that bring inner peace. But above all, my passion knows no bounds, To lend a helping hand, where need surrounds. In service to others, my spirit finds its worth, A love that transforms the earth. So let this love poem be a testament, To the things I hold dear, the moments I've spent. With helping hearts, dogs by my side, art in my soul, This love will forever make my spirit whole
