Cold water by Justin Bieber not just because of the rhythm but the lyrics as well.
@Mecklioh
I love this one too, the lyrics are too beautiful. ❤
"And if you feel you're sinking,
I will jump right over
Into cold, cold water for you
I will still be patient with you
And I hope you know
I'll be your lifeline tonight
I won't let go"
@SoulfullyAButterfly Remember You Young by Thomas Rhet.

one of my favorite western hemisphere songs - "Enter Sandman" by Metallica
the lyrics are written by guitarist James Hettfield and drummer Lars Ulrich
the song and the music video are a great message to me, every time i listen and/or watch
in your awakened state or dream state, you share the same goal...
@SoulfullyAButterfly "Spring Day" by BTS, it's gorgeous, makes you feel that despite bad feelings sometimes taking over, there will be hope at the end.
right now I'm grateful for cumbia songs! because I'm not playing salsa on my main wind instrument yet while I recover from long covid...(too heavy to lift up and blow) but I can play concertina (seated, not heavy, moving my arms around a little) while I recover! Keeps me connected to music and learning new styles, new cultures, in another language and new things! Reminds me to maintain the "childhood like mind" attitude! Here are three simple ones I'm starting with!
Reina de Cumbias - Celosa Pina
El Hijo de Tuta - Lisandro Mesa
Amor Regresa Ya - Grupo Cual

I have been digging the song "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)" lately... it brings back memories of my brothers and I dancing to it on Just Dance. The lyrics also hit hard to show that change happens... I like to think of it as my power song of me changing for the better.
the last great american dynasty - taylor swift is one of my recent favourites
