Hi everyone,

The 2024 World Mental Health Day theme is Mental Health at Work: It is time to prioritize mental health in the workplace.

Some of our admins and ambassadors have shared helpful tips on how to prioritize workplace wellbeing and I will be sharing them in this thread!

Have a reflection about these tips or want to share your own? Feel welcome to join the discussion by replying to this thread.

@SoulfullyAButterfly thanks for sharing all the tips and insights shared here!

One thing I’ve found really helpful is setting aside time for self-reflection. Just pausing for a few minutes each week to see how I’m really feeling has been so helpful. It keeps me in tune with my needs and helps prevent stress from piling up.

Unfortunately for some, it is very difficult to have any sort of healthy anything at work. People will often continue working in a workplace with toxic people because they have to pay their bills.

@SoulfullyAButterfly thanks for sharing!

One thing I find particularly helpful is time management. Simple as it may be, setting a time limit to your work when possible can have a huge impact on your wellbeing. Sometimes we tend to set a goal in terms of task completion rather than time, aka "I'll finish this task and then I'll be done", but that can be unhealthy especially when we're not in good shape and a task ends up taking up more of our time than we planned. Sometimes "30 minutes and then I'll be done" is the best you can do
