hello everybody
I am in high school and I am trying to figure out things about my mental health. I know there's something wrong with it but I am not quite sure what. I think it's bipolar but I am not entirely sure, I don't go to therapy/see anyone for it so I am not sure how to go about getting a diagnosis for it, or figuring out what it actually is if it isn't bipolar. I have huge mood shifts and periods of mania/depression, but they happen very fast. The periods change every few days. I don't know what it is, but I would like to figure it out in order to help figure out how to deal with it.
thank you for listening to my rambling :)
A psychiatrist can diagnose you with some paperwork and a talk. From there you can look into treatment options. Every few days can be rapid cycling or a mixed episode. Bipolar tends to get worse without treatment. And you should see health professionals for health related issues whether it be physical or mental.
@Wencanan
this is the suggestion we can give. see a psychiatrist and have a professional opinion. then you will take it from there.
