Can’t Sleep

My mind just doesn’t want to stop and sleep just doesn’t want to come! Smh

Try telling this to a loved one. Listen to calming music before sleep or even some boring podcast. Don't consume caffeine 6-8 hrs before bed time and make sure you are venting out your emotions and not penting them up in your head :)

Thank you for the advice but unfortunately I never was able to fall asleep..sometimes I cannot sleep for days and than I guess eventually my body just shuts down..I probably need to take your advice and vent my emotions before trying to go to sleep!

I can't sleep either and I already play music to fall sleep but every time I. trying to sleep Im feeling I can't breath sorry my english is not the best.

Sorry you wasn’t able to fall asleep either..a lot of times playing soft music or nature sounds doesn’t work for me! But I hope you’re able to get some sleep tonight!

I can totally sympathise as i don't sleep much either. The issue is lying there and almost fighting for sleep to come. I now say to myself, well, if i'm resting it's better than nothing. I know that all the so called advice says don't sleep during the day...but i usually manage 2 hours of sleep in the afternoon and it is a deep, restorative sleep. Don't get hung up on forcing yourself to sleep at night, just try and rest and be as calm and settled as possible. Sleep when your mind and body tells you it needs to sleep. Even if that is 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Listen to your inner voice and rest, sleep, etc on your own terms......and if like me, that isn't during the night......so what ? Do what is right for you.
