Art prompt for Christmas

Since it’s the holidays and some of us might have nothing to do, i created this thread as a safe space to talk about what the holidays mean to us. I’m going to make an art prompt out of this, too.


i think the holidays are all about gratitude and thanksgiving, because what are we besides what we’re happy to have? I know i feel grateful for a lot of things, like days that are sunny and warm, or times when i get hit with inspiration.


I am grateful for:

  • food
  • shelter
  • money
  • art
  • poetry
  • my tv
  • my ps4
  • gaming
  • watching tv
  • drinking tea


Here’s the art prompt:

Draw a picture of you doing the thing you’re most grateful for. You can borrow from my list if you want

Practicing gratitude is always a great thing to do. It helps my mental state a lot.

I am thankful to have a job where I am supported. I am thankful for my co workers. I am thankful to be in a loving supportive, healthy relationship. I am thankful to be able to stay home during the extreme cold and have a home where I can be warm. I am thankful for delicious food.
