Does anyone struggle with anxiety because of their job? My work triggers my anxiety so bad. I’m constantly in a state of fight or flight and it gets tiring - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If you can relate, please leave a message so we can support one another through this struggle.

@blueSugar2316 Yes, I'm struggling with anxiety. I resigned after 4 days. Now I'm looking to try another job.

I’ve been in the same career field for years, and I’ve felt anxieties on and off almost everyday. I feel stuck in the same career because I don’t have any much experiences in anything else. I hope to start college soon again to learn a new career, but it’s so expensive.

I looked into getting disability for my anxieties, but how do I prove that I’ve been experiencing it for so many years?

At work, I am learning to temporarily desensitize myself in order to control my anxieties. However, I feel like it has an effect on me after work, like I feel more tired, and my triggers play back in my head when I’m suppose to be resting.

I can completely relate. When I spot my supervisor in the hall I literally feel I've run a marathon. My heart starts pounding, my hands get sweaty, and I feel I need to run away.
