Looking for people's experiences with sertraline increase from 100mg to 150mg
Hi everyone
Recently I have been going through a lot of stress
Honestly i'm just an emotional wreck I've had a really long and hard day yesterday and today hasn't been much better,
My grandmother lost the use of her legs completely and her arms are almost the same, she is struggling with her mobility a lot, my neighbour passed away too and I had a bad anxiety attack so I had to get rushed to my doctor and my medication had to be increased lastnight and I'm worried about side effects.
im just wondering if anyone here has ever taken or is taking sertraline and if they ever had to have an increase.
did you experience any bad side effects?
did the increase make you feel worse?
@OPrimaDonna I was on Zoloft for a while and had a dose increase while I was taking it. The only side effects I had were: harder to focus, very unaffected by stressful situations, more impulsive, more prone to being silly/creative. It wasn't bad for me, but the lack of impulse control when I was already struggling with bad coping skills led to my doc taking me off it. But, this is just by reaction to it. To each their own.

Hi, I started taking sertralin recently because of depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I started with 100 mg aswell but my doctor wanted me to go up to 150mg bc it wasn’t really doing anything for my panic attack but I honestly felt worse with a higher dosage and gad bad side effects like weight gain, really bad vertigo and dizzyness and also made my memory bad but it might work for you since everyone reacts differently, but just wanted to share my experiences so you might be prepared if you do experience side effects since I was afraid of it too. I take 25mg now and it has worked better for me with a smaller dose.
