I don’t know why I get anxious

it’s always been like this even when I was young. I always get really anxious going back to “reality” after a long time off. Going back to school after the summer break. Now going back to work after a long vacation. I have no idea why and I don’t know how to change it.

What you're describing could probably be fear of what's to come/the unknown or you've connected your school life and/or work to negative emotions in your head. Try to identify those negative thoughts and understand the core of their creation. Are they based on fear of judgment? Maybe a specific person causes your anxiety. Maybe your work environment is not very pleasant in one way or another. The more you dig in the easier it will be to address the core of your anxious thoughts. Either way those are just assumptions, food for thought! I hope you will feel better as soon as possible 🖤

I get this too! For me, it's because I've had negative experiences in work and it's my biggest trigger for social anxiety. It could be the anxiety of leaving a safe space (home, alone), going back to an environment you find quite triggering? You're not alone in feeling this way though. Hopefully you can find ways to manage and calm your anxiety during the transitions.
