It’s tough when anxiety makes it hard to trust and feel at ease. Wanting to have control over those feelings is natural but it can be exhausting too. It might help to focus on grounding techniques or distractions to redirect your thoughts when those feelings come up.

Finding ways to reassure yourself that everything is okay can also be beneficial. Remember, it’s a process and it’s okay to take it one step at a time.

Does sound stressful. I too have some anxiety and stress when my bf leaves sometimes. I try to remember something big that he did that shows his love and focus on that. I know I need a little more than that to ease my worries, but it helps a lot none the less. What do you do that helps?

I start cleaning or busying myself so that the proverbial “empty mind is a devils workshop” isn’t something that can manifest with me.

Try getting into meditation. It might seem like the most cliche thing to say but it really works wonders. also read this book called anxiously attached which helps you understand anxious attachment style.
