What do you do when you're overwhelmed.

When you're feeling overwhelmed with tasks, what are some things you do to help calm and center yourself?

Hey there, I can share a few things that have worked for me. I use a meditation app called 'Balance' when I feel overstimulated. They have exercises and meditations on there that can help you to feel re-centered and calm down.
I have made a space dedicated to relaxation, like a 'safe space' that I retreat to and spend time when things are overwhelming. This could be a specific place in your home or somewhere outdoors, maybe in nature.
I take mini breaks during the day. I do something where I will have a 20 minute nap on some days. I set an alarm for 25 minutes and then just close my eyes until it goes off. Sometimes I will fall asleep, other times I wont but just the act of resting is restorative and can give you that much needed reset.
