@StressedGirl I'm really sorry to hear that you're facing such a challenging and lengthy wait for your ADHD assessment. It's completely understandable that the waiting period can be incredibly frustrating and overwhelming. Your feelings of helplessness, sadness, and worry are valid.

During this waiting period, it might be helpful to explore coping mechanisms or strategies that could provide some relief for the problematic traits you're experiencing. If you ever need someone to talk to or share your thoughts and feelings, I'm here for you. Take care, and don't hesitate to reach out whenever you need support or a listening ear <3

@StressedGirl I appreciate the love, and I totally get that humour can sometimes be a bit tricky, especially with different perspectives. No worries at all! Your kindness is always welcome here 😊

@StressedGirl (Good question, said sarcastically, in case you struggle to know when that's happening - oh dear meant to say this straightforwardly but ended up sarcastic).  Please forgive me for patronising you if you understand sarcasm and I realise these statement then are patronsing in themselves - not meant - just language processing konking out).  Sorry :/

@theboymoana Maybe took dr too literally (years and years and years - with my autism).  Also, waiting time too long cos NHS.  (I'm in UK) and private diagnosis if indeed I need one - only ADHD-LIKE traits 'm experiencing so could be pretty much anything else eg learning disability, difference like dyscalculia etc neurodiversity or any mental health issue - so overlappy and if you have an autism diagnosis already - ADHD has very similar traits.  Private diagnosis may (what GP says) or may not be accepted (what Duty Worker- mental health nurse on call where I would see psychiatrist within NHS says).
