Early signs of oxy addiction ??

I am on a couple different pain meds both highly addictive. I woke up this morning with a slightly nauseated, sick to my stomach feeling and an intense feeling of dread and fear.
I am an alcoholic, sober for several years, but quitting I did not experience anything like this. I am wondering if this feeling I woke up with might have something to do with the meds and possible withdrawal I was way past due for the oxy . Is this something I have to look forward to? Thank you.

Well done for being sober so long, that takes great strength and so I can understand why you are so worried about the oxy. I can see you posted a short while ago, so I hope you have found your answer and spoken to a medical professional. I know that I don't need a clock to know when my pain meds are due, but your feelings seem slightly different? Has it happened again?
@MistyMagic
it did happen again. My doctor wasn’t too concerned about it. As this goes on I am waking up close to the times due. . I am on my own so that is going to have to be good enough.
Thank you for reaching out.

@Iamwhoiamwhoami you are strong, as you have stayed on the road, I am sure that you will figure this out too. Doctors sometimes just are too busy? How are you feeling now?
