One Step a Day

I've found that recognizing one step a day that I've done that was healthy towards recovery has been really beneficial. It helps me not focus on the negative as much and is something that I can do, no matter where I am in my recovery, whether that be wanting to get clean or having been so for a little while. I thought maybe sharing the idea might help! Hopefully this can be an ongoing thread for daily posting. :)

One step that I took today was to call and make an appointment with my psychiatrist in order to let her know how things have been going, rather than continuing to isolate and put it off. Now that I've made my appointment, I feel relieved rather than quite as anxious as I had before calling.

I went back to the doctor and got a CT scan, which will help my overall health.

@lovelyWhisper66 There was actually a "glassy" section on my lungs which confirmed that I've had a lung infection and inflamation the past three months but I'm on antibiotics now and should be back to normal soon!

So, this is where I tell about my 'One Step a Day'! Okay, I'm fixing to do Step 272, joining a sub-community, like I really need to join another community. I'll do it anyway.

@FaithfulPrune9638 It's awesome that you completed step 272! If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed with how many subcommunities you're in, it's definitely okay to leave ones that you're not feeling are a good fit or anything like that.

Trying to quit but finding every moment i feel less equipped emotionally and more child like as if i dont have any social skills right now. Im very worried im having some type of breakdown. This started out a good idea but if i cant function than im no good to anybody
