Academy Awards December 2024
Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is time for another Academy Awards post. The following were nominated since last time.
Quick reminder!
Rules of nomination
- We have also included academy graduates, and trainees/interns in this category of people who can be nominated. The condition is that you must have been supported by this person in your academy journey to nominate them for the award and they need to be associated with the academy. Academy mentors and team leads can also nominate fellow mentors/leaders for doing a great job with their tasks.
Excluded categories:
- Anyone not directly associated with academy
- You can not nominate yourself
- Admins

- Marcelo is an extraordinary ambassador for QLP. He is kind, professional, available, supportive, and prompt. ♡ I am grateful for all he does.
CordialDancer
- When I first started QLP, Cordial kindly reached out to me informing me she was my mentor. She was very polite and made it known I could come to her if I needed any help. While I did not need her assistance, it felt nice knowing there was someone there just in case I did need help. I appreciate her efforts as a mentor. ♡
Positiveak
- They have been a supportive mentor in my QLP journey. It was nice to know that there was someone to support me through this internship.
- They have been so helpful and willing to answer my many questions. I was a little lost when I first started my internship but after they messaged me to introduce themself and welcomed questions I felt a lot more comfortable! They are very kind, understanding and overall a fantastic mentor!
PetiteSouris
- PetiteSouris was there to help keep me on track during my internship. Like a guiding hand, reminding me of the internship's critical dates and tasks. Asking if I needed help, and providing insight and guidance whenever asked. They have gone above and beyond, and for this I thank you.
- She helped in my whole journey of this program. She never give up on me. She always be there for me even when I was thinking of give up. I want to say thank you to her.

- Oasis shared great information links and also remind me to complete the trial form before due date.
- They have reached out to me, reminding me of deadlines and offering their help.
Ivy229
- This mentor helped me when I was very confused and kind of hopeless about me continuing with the program. Their support is the reason I was able to go on. They guided me by answering every question I asked in a timely manner.

- They were the most frequent person to respond and when they did, they gave positive and clear direction in what updates I needed to do

Congratulations Academy Team!
For every positive comment, there might be ten people who think the same about these and other Mentors but didn't submit a review. I worked with surveys, focus groups, etc. and that's my experience.
Thanks also to the person who submitted such a nice and encouraging review about me!
I love to see the Academy growing and getting stronger thanks to our superb Mentors and new very talented people who join as Mentors. We are really lucky in that.
The future looks very bright for the Academy!
