Hello everyone,

Three writing team members, @HealingTalk, @Teacup8809 and @alex428, have collected a bunch of YouTube Channels from and for people with DID/OSDD-1 or those who want to learn about it. Please leave your thoughts on the channels, your appreciation for the writers, as well as further channel recommendations in the comments below - I'm happy to add more channels to the list!

This is a channel dedicated to challenging the stigma surrounding DID and trauma-based mental illness. It features videos about DID symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, education, awareness and personal stories from people who have DID.

MultiplicityAndMe: https://www.youtube.com/@MultiplicityAndMe

This is a channel created by a system with DID and that also co-hosts a podcast. They aim to raise awareness and educate people about DID through their videos, which include interviews, Q&A sessions, documentaries and vlogs.

The Entropy System: https://www.youtube.com/@TheEntropySystem

This is a channel run by a system with DID and who is also a therapist. They share their experiences and insights about living with DID, as well as offering advice and support for people who have it or want to learn more about it. They also collaborate with other YouTubers who have DID or other mental health conditions

The Rings System: https://www.youtube.com/@TheRingsSystem

This is a channel hosted by a system of 27 alters who have OSDD-1b. They make videos about their daily lives, their hobbies, their therapy sessions, their relationships and their challenges. They also answer questions from viewers and share their opinions on various topics related to OSDD-1b.


Fragmented Psyche:

This is a channel run by a system with DID and PTSD. They talk about their experiences with trauma, dissociation, memory loss, flashbacks and coping strategies. They also interview other people who have DID or other mental health issues and discuss various aspects of mental health awareness.


The Labyrinth System:

This is a channel created by a system of 11 alters who have DID. They make videos about their personal stories, their struggles and achievements, their therapy progress, their art projects and their interactions with other systems. They also provide educational information about DID and other dissociative disorders.


Acrylic and Aether: https://www.youtube.com/@AcrylicAndAether

This channel, created 5 years ago, educates people about dissociative identity disorder and answers questions that other channels may not be open to answering. The Aether system provides insight into what having DID is like from multiple perspectives, and also provides a safe space for littles who may be watching some of their videos.


ThePizzaSystem:

This channel provides education on dissociative identity disorder and gives viewers a personal look into what having DID is like on a daily basis, and how the right support can make all the difference. In addition, the system also discusses their struggles with trauma, dissociation, age sliding, and rapid switching episodes.


Otherbuttons & the BRB: https://www.youtube.com/@Otherbuttons

They are a collection of personalities all in one body, who believe they have either DID, or OSDD-1b. Their goal with this channel is to fight the stigma around DID/OSDD and share both the good, and bad experiences they have. They also have a Twitch that sometimes has gaming experiences, or lives.


Derek IFSCA: https://www.youtube.com/@IFSCA

This channel offers a lot of information about parts work. It is dedicated to videos describing the Internal Family System model of the personality and how it promotes growth and supports healing.

I think watching the Entropy System will be very interesting considering it is ran by a system who is also a therapist. So, I'm excited to watch some videos and learn more :)💜

@audienta Thanks for sharing this. I have subscribed to all the available YT channels listed. I think I have OSDD. Many insiders, but I don't lose time.

@audienta I will have to go through the list again because when I went on YouTube and checked my subscriptions none of these new ones were added. I'll go back write the channel names down and look for them. Just letting you know the links you provided aren't working. I don't know why.
