[Archived] LDP Update: Progress Reports Now in Forums!
Hi everyone! There is a new update for trainees and a very important one at that. Starting June 20th, we are shifting Progress Reports to be done in forums.
How does it work?
Every two weeks, we ask that you reply to the thread here for reporting your program progress.
What do I say in the thread?
You will answer three questions:
- How many weeks it has been?
- What all your have completed so far?
- Where do you need support from us?
What will it do?
It will help you see other trainees that are in the same boat as you, interact with them and help each other out.
When do I start doing this?
From your very next progress report submission date. Remember that you are to submit a PR every two weeks. If your next date is coming up soon, please post in this thread. Any form submissions will NOT be counted and can affect your graduation. Those enrolled for 6 weeks have to post in the thread TWICE (at weeks 2 & 4), and those enrolled for 8 weeks have to post in the thread THRICE (at weeks 2, 4, & 6).
Who is checking?
A mentor is assigned to make sure you are submitting it every two weeks.
How do I remember?
A great way to do this set a reminder in your device to post in this thread every second Monday. Make sure you bookmark the thread where you have to post. If you post it in this thread, it will NOT count.

It has already been 6 weeks and this is the last progress report I am submitting !
- What all your have completed so far?
I have completed all the 5 courses , became a room supporter and also an ATL !
- Where do you need support from us?
It'll be really great if a bit more guidance is provided for course 5 , it was a bit confusing and I had a difficulty in figuring out what I need to do. The rest was absolutely awesone and I had an amazing LDP journey ! Thank you so much !!

All 5 courses, i am room supporter, on Safety Patrol and verified listener

Course 5 was really confusing me, didn't know where to go with it so more guidance would make this easier.
Other than that, I look forward to final feedback and hopefully passing.

I signed up for 14-11-2022 today is 15-11-2022 . I completed the course 1 yesterday

Course 1 was quite clear. I'm still contacting my mentor for other support.

Hi Frenchy,
This is the start of the second week, and I am here, lol let's go!
I have introduced myself and my journey to finish the LDP Course. I have accepted a position and I will see from there how it goes here at 7cups.
I will need to talk with peers that have done this position before me and learn from them how to succeed further with the team here in the Academy.

- How many weeks it has been? I'm almost done with my LDP actually - it ends on Monday.
- What all your have completed so far? I just finished Course 4 but I lost the link to the thing where I say I finished it all.
- A Question: Is there a Course 5?
@GermanZebraCupcake There is not course 5. If you are done with coursework and have gotten into a leadership role, please submit the last step form.
It has been 2 weeks for me so far and I have enjoyed being involved with the program intensely.
Over this period I went over the full Course 1 without much issues, enjoying the detailed and informative articles I had to go through throughout the course and discussions
