Going Dark (Self-Care Challenge Day 6)
Hi everyone,
Today, we will be going dark: Consider unplugging by disconnecting from social media as well as any of your screens to go on a secret adventure - this is your chance to do anything you would like to for yourself! What did you end up doing? Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. Remember to update us tomorrow
For those of us who cannot unplug completely, consider deliberately taking a break for half of your day or for a time that is doable.

I wasn't able to unplug for a whole day for multiple reasons, but I did my 5+ silent minutes like I planned it on day 5. I ended up laying on a mat on the floor, looking at the ceiling and listening to all those racing thoughts in my mind. It was something between stressful and boring. After around 7 minutes, I got up and wrote some of the thoughts into my diary. Even though it felt exhausting and kind of scary, I'll try to make that a daily habit.
@audienta yay well done for trying it out! You can look into Mindfulness and learn how to continuously observe thoughts while reaping many benefits.

Thank you for the tip! I tried it again today, and it went much easier. I actually felt calmer afterwards.

What did you end up doing?
I really have a hard time unplugging in the summertime since school is not in session. This is something I really need to learn to work on.
