List of Mods?
I asked this in a different thread, but I forgot where.
Can we please get a list of current mods we can tag/PM/etc. when needed? Thank you! <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 Do you mean the Community Mods? Or do you want all the volunteers too?
@AffyAvo
Anyone we can contact in case of issues. We've been having major issues with bullying, as well as someone being encouraging in a subtle way about unaliving themselves, and another person spamming several posts with off-site Zoom links. Flagging posts isn't doing anything. We need a list of people we can either tag or PM to get quicker help with these issues, especially the potentially dangerous situations listed above. It could save a life...
@jesusredeemedme2425 That's a bit difficult to answer as things vary depending on the area of the site.
The emergency form/ Community Moderator on schedule are for the group chatrooms.
For forums, flagging is typically the quickest and easiest way. You can also message any of the community mentors/community mentor leaders for a particular community, or someone with the community mentor badge (global forum mods) for help.
For crisis situations, the crisis links we have on site can be shared and then using the report option for that aspect of the site.
If you have concerns with how flags are being managed, you can email forum@7cups.com or message CheeryMango.
For the site in general there's the help desk (timeframe = days) and PMing admin or ambassadors for the areas they oversee (might get lucky with catching them online, and not busy with other things).
Personally I will sometimes get the attention of a ComMod if I notice a major safety issue, as they have direct communication lines with admin. I have forum modding abilities, and sometimes there are things I see that need urgent attention that are beyond the tools I have. Generally the ComMods are fairly busy monitoring the chat rooms so this isn't normal reporting protocol for non-chatroom things, but sometimes things are out of the norm.
@7CupsCommunity do you have anything to add?
@AffyAvo
I think this might be the best way to go...

Can we have a list quickly and easily accessible to us, please? Flagging is going unnoticed. Thank you <3
@jesusredeemedme2425 These are the global ones https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/?badge=110
This only shows listeners, not members (I think right now I'm the only moderating member anyway and am currently on break) plus limits it to the age groups ie. Teens will see teens and ATLs, adults will see adults unless they are an ATL. (ATL = adult teen listener, an adult with teen side access)
For community-specific you can look on the leader list for any community by clicking the About tab on any community page.
Sorry for the minimal links, I'm using my phone right now.
No problem, thank you for the help <3 I’m just worried about anyone getting hurt, yk?
@jesusredeemedme2425 Yeah, I appreciate you bringing up any safety concerns! It's hard to report things and then just sit and wait.

Hi! There is a super new resource listing the options of finding a mod here,
https://www.7cups.com/forum/groupmod/General_2446/Guidetofindingamoderatorforasession_334508/
I hope that helps a little.
