...See more Hi there, Today we will learn a little more about gratitude and learn how to express this. Studies have shown that if you practice daily gratitude practice, it can make you feel happier and improve your health. What is Gratitude? Gratitude is the expression of appreciation for what one already has and not ones future desires or hopes. It is generated from within. This social emotion strengthens relationships, and its roots run deep in evolutionary history, and it stems from the survival value of helping others and being helped in return. Studies show that specific areas of the brain are involved in experiencing and expressing gratitude. Brain scans of people assigned a task that stimulates gratitude show lasting changes in the prefrontal cortex that heighten sensitivity to future experiences of gratitude, thus feeling happier and healthier. Please list 3 things that you are grateful for and share daily if you feel comfortable to do so!

Those of you may remember that we did this last year and as it was so popular it might be useful to continue. This journey is for anyone looking to nurture their mental health, cultivate positive and perhaps even new habits, and find more joy in their daily lives. Now I don't know how to navigate back to that task which was listening to an eleven-minute audio track. ...See more So I’m new to online therapy. I’m just not sure how this whole app works. The limited and very sporadic response time from the therapist I’m paying for monthly confuses me. Isn’t therapy supposed to be for an hour? I get a few moments with this person then poof! gone. I just need help understanding how this whole thing is supposed to work I suppose

...See more I had an initial screening with a psychologist recently and was diagnosed with dysthymia and anxiety. I plan on transferring to a different clinic because of accessibility. However I’m at a loss on whether i should talk to a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Please help, thank you! :)

...See more Over the weekend I paid for therapy, and sent an opening message to the therapist I was connected with. I was pleasantly surprised at the prompt response I got that day, asking me some introduction questions, which I answered Sunday. I have yet to hear anything since my response. No word Monday, nor today yet. A little frustrating to be told we'll get a response at least once maybe twice Monday through Friday.

...See more I already posted my whole story by the name"l'm confused ". Now we started the conversation again and she was the initiator. We had a chat for 1 hr straight and after that we went to library to read. She is now ignoring me again , I mean idk what just happened to her. I know once the trust is lost it can't be regained that easily. So I'm bearing quite a patience. But I feel like I'm not able to connect w her as earlier. Deep down in my heart I want her to be my bestie again but my consciousness doesn't allow me to take any step further. Becoz sometimes she behaves as if she's fed up of me. I wanna take a break or maintain a space from her. But somewhere I thought that it may affect our bond very badly. So I want an advice . What should I do. Becoz If I stay w her it feels like being hurt when she ignores me.
