What gets you out of bed in the morning?

FoolsSelf March 22nd, 2021

My bladder. I'm 54, so yeah. My bladder.😅

Honestly? It could be one or more of several things:

1) full bladder.

2) the need to get things done.

3) the local songbirds' annoying chirping.

4) my downstairs neighbor's truly irritating prayers, which go on for a long time. I suspect she's an Evangelical...sometimes she gets enthusiastic. Urrgh!

@slowdecline48

It helps some people to pray out loud but have you thought about asking her kindly to do it a bit quieter? When I feel stressed I do hear things much louder as usually.

Not seriously, because she doesn't shout her prayers all the time.... Also because with the politics in this apartment complex, I am not about to start any disagreements with neighbors. Given my overall situation, neighbor conflict would not be a great idea.

@slowdecline48

Not starting a conflict sounds mindful.

Well it’s summer so I’m not waking up to an alarm to get the kiddos up for school. Lately it’s been just that little sliver of sunlight escaping the blinds and finding it’s way to my face.

I loved the comment ... "my bladder".... 😊

For me it's our Morning Glories. We have to get out there at the right time to see them freshly opened before the sun makes them shrivel. _1656104614.First Moring Glory 2 2022-06-20.jpg
