This is called sound alike words!
So the purpose of sound alikes is to show how sound alike words can be so different even though they sound the same.
There are three ways you can play this game:
#1) Use the words the opposite of how they are meant to be used
EXAMPLE: I here you. I think hear is the best place to live!
#2) Use the words the same as they are meant to be used
EXAMPLE: I see the waves rolling in to the quiet sea.
#3) Ask a question and give the answer
EXAMPLE:
What do you call an illegally parked frog?
Toad (towed)
See how many different ones you can come up with. There are lots in English.
I think it is more fun to use them in sentences if you can think of them. Let's play !
