Could you briefly describe one of your life's stories that you always enjoy remembering and that always brings a smile to your face?

Watching & listening to my son and the band he was in, on a highschool sanctioned 'variety' night, in the high school  concert theatre, perform 'While my Guitar Gently Weeps', where my son mixed satge presence with amazing 'solo' guitar - it is embedded in my memories. He's now 38.

Ain't got too many "beautiful stories" to tell but I do have a few weird ones. I already posted one here...read it if you like. [cw: drugs mentioned]

@amiablePeace77. I remembered one yesterday when I passed a Denny’s restaurant. Passing a Denny’s brings me fond memories.

When I was younger I used to work 4pm to 12 pm shift. After work I would go with other employees to Denny’s (which is open 24 hours). We had a nice time relaxing after work there.

Many years later I attended classes at a senior center. There was a Denny’s near by. After class many of went to Denny’s to chat a bit more after class.

I had a dog named Sparky who would always go with me to a neighbor's house. She had a cat but it was always behind a glass door. Sparky would bark and run back and forth on her porch raising cain at the cat. One morning I went down to her house and she was standing out on her porch. We were talking and Sparky was wandering around in the grass in her yard. Suddenly I saw the black cat's tail raised up out of the grass. I had hoped Sparky did not see it, but of course, he spotted the cat in the grass and ran to bark at the cat who was not behind the glass door. The cat leaped out of the grass and was nowhere near Sparky but Sparky rolled over on his back and began to holler, all four pawa straight up in the air as if to say," Who in the heck left the gate open?

Mama's tough dog was a big chicken with a bad bark🤣
