If I do not do that I take myself out of the situation and calm down by following my breath

I'm trying to just let it go. In six months from now, or one month, or even one week, it won't be important. And not responding when someone goes off at me gives me the courage to just let it go. It shows control. The people who got upset, are still upset.

Anger? What anger? Angry at someone or something? I seldom get angry and when I do, it's quite justified. I remember less than the fingers on one hand in my whole life.
Otherwise I might be upset at times but it won't show. I pick my battles.
