A lovely way for all ages to celebrate is an advent calendar (shoutout tiny for the inspo!).

🎄

Great ideas for what to put in an advent calendar in the link below.

🎁

Feel free to share if you'll be using an advent calendar and what you'll be putting in it.

@Mya000

Thanks Mya! So far I have a candle and keychain. Are you doing or buying an advent calendar?

A family member introduced me to jigsaws as advent calendar this year. The jigsaw pieces are separated into 24 boxes, you open a box each day and complete a section of the picture. I love it as an alternative to sugar based advent calendars. And also because I can get so involved with a jigsaw, I forget to stop. Whereas this only allows me to do a bit each day.

That's a great idea for more chill people who like to lounge and do low key activities.

That type of thing is torture for me...I like to be on the move, adventuring and exploring. If I sit too long, I'll probably explode.

My advent calendar is geared more towards that - I call it my 'caac' which yes, I realize it quite the name. It stands for cozy adventure advent calendar, and has many different things.

From candles to keychains, socks to gifts cards, each item is a magical loving smile for me this month that keeps me going and feeling okay even when all seems lost, overstimulating or I'm too much or too little.

Today the item was a pair of socks that were quite the situation to allow. There were phone calls, delivery rerouted and hypoglycemism.  Link to my caac post here: https://www.7cups.com/forum/crafts/General_2557/CozyAdventureAdventCalender_318626/?post=3423524

@communicativePond1728

Thats a lovely personal adventure calendar. Do you update it with new objects each year?

Personal adventure calendar? PAC? That sounds a lot more lovely than CAAC; I may take that so I don't get booted off 7cups for suggesting that others may enjoy seeing 'my caac', god help me.

And I don't know if you've read or watched Harry Potter, but CAAC is giving Hermione Granger SPEW realness and I'm not sure if that's what I'm going for, to be honest~

AnYwAy! This is my first year doing it so thanks for the idea to percolate... ☕

It sounds a lovely idea to me. No ccac here.

Acronyms are a risky business. I know a car number plate that spells a word meaning horse in one language (the intention being horse power), but spells naked in the language of the country just across the border. Whoops. 🤭

Hahaha omg...whoops for sure.

There's a yoghurt product here in the west called 'Yop' and in Russian it's a cuss word. 😬

As the messiest messy mess I find doing anything basically impossible.

Finding tools and techniques to get through my day with limited cuss words is imperative.

A few things I've utilized are numerology and a online decider wheels.

This has been helping me with my CAAC (Not me yelling a random dirty sounding-word, just an abbreviation for my cozy adventure advent calendar...which I may change to PAC - personal advent calendar, to prevent any lawsuits.).

It takes decision fatigue out of the picture a bit.

For example today I didn't know what I should put in my 4th slot of the calendar. I had some earrings I had purchased before, but they weren't the vibe, whatever that mean.

After an adventure to town doing errands, I realized the phone final purchase price numbers all added up to four.

So that is today's advent calendar item!
