Family can be tough

It’s the holiday season and I appreciate everything my family has done for me. However, sometimes those nice deeds they do just give them more leverage to be mean to me. But I’m forced to be grateful because they bought me things, fixed things for me, and helped me out financially. I just have to bite my tongue which is harder over the holiday season.

Im sorry.. nobody should have to tolerate verbal abuse just because they buy you things. You deserve better. You have a right to speak up and say something and break the cycle. Don’t let them continue using you as a punching bag.
