Hey there! I am a 24 yo (proud) lonely wolf.  I have  a Bachelor in Psychology. (not a qualified therapist yet tho!)

My goal is to cheer you up, bring a smile on your face and help you find a solution to your issues on the way. :) Message me if you're feeling sad or lonely or if you simply want to share something with me. I'm very open-minded and I like to talk to people from all over the world about pretty much anything.

Me vs Depression

...See more Hey guys :) I really had to fight my depression today. I didn't sleep very well last night and I was a mess in the morning, I felt like staying in bed for the rest of the day, surrounded by my negative thoughts and so on. Then I ate 2 apples of my favorite kind, very sweet and juicy, and some tangerines. :) I felt better after, I was quite thristy and that was probably contributing to my bad mood. I slowly started to do.... things. Small steps, one thing at the time. I put my notes in order for the next exam, I checked facebook. Nothing too hard. I studied for 2 h then I took a walk and it was one of my best decision ever. I reallly really needed fresh air. I went to the gym although today was supposed to be a rest day ( I'm addicted for me it's hard not to go there). All I did was pilates and stretching but it was wayyy better than spending the whole day in my room or worse, in my bed. At the end of the day, I can say I managed to study and have a pretty normal day despite my depression and all my dark thoughts. I did it on my own but there's nothing wrong with seeking help. That wasn't the first nor the last day I had to fight my depression, but I know I can handle it and I will be fine no matter what. And so will you! If you're going through something similar, please let me know and let's help each other out, share your story. And never ever lose hope.

Cloudy days and umbrellas (my personal experience)

...See more Once upon a time ( You can't even remember it, can you?), you used to be happy and carefree, you used to be able to enjoy life. Then something happens and your days became grey. You stopped enjoying the little things and seeing them altogether. There was a little voice in your head telling you to be sad, that life was not worth living, that you were not good enough, that there was nothing you could do and there was no way out. Of course, you can complete the whole checklist. You can start working out and the endorphines will improve your mood. You can eat healthier and you'll eventually feel better. Although these little changes might work for some people, (I have met so many people claiming they have tried tried 'everything'! They forgot to change their attitude sadly.) I think the best way to fight depression is to do exactly the oppostie of what it's telling you to do. No matter what you're going through, stay positive and remember you're not alone. There is help, even if it might seem hopeless. A cloudy day is no match for a sunny disposition. And just because you're having a cloudy day, that doesn't mean that tomorrow won't be sunny. I'm here for you whether you're having a cloudy or a sunny day. :) You can either post in the Depression section or send me a message and I will answer as soon as I can.

Wonderful
Palm was a very nice listener and definitely worthwhile to talk with. She should be someone that you seek out and that you can be certain will reply to your requests; open minded, yes, by demonstrating the capacity to accept what it is that you want or have to share with her. Even if she isn't capable of changing your mind you can always exchange your ideas and recently acquired advisement on how to move forward with her, so it is always nice to have someone like Palm to try and assert what it is that you should accept is the optimal way to go. It is rare to find worthwhile listeners nowadays, or at least it has been for me. Most don't talk, many just leave after few or barely any words and far too many choose to act as predictable listeners with a considered typing cognition. I want to walk with human beings, be them lone wolves or social hares; Palm was capable of being a person when I wasn't expecting more people around here to be as such, so she clearly made me happier in the end. It's always important to be prudent and respectful, yes, also confining about what you choose to share and at which times you want to do so (privacy and well manners are a must regardless of whom you're talking with, anywhere and something everyone in 7 Cups knows and has to respect). I really enjoyed talking with someone like this and Palm certainly made it feel like I wasn't chatting to a self-responding mirror -- which is what most listeners make me feel like I'm doing. Palm made me feel like I was talking with the people I'd like to meet outside and that's exactly what I think makes a good listener worthy of their voluntary role. If you'd like to receive a digital gold medal then I'm sure you'd be able to get one ^^. You certainly seem to be more than talented for that and I can only hope that your personal life continues to improve. I'm grateful for sure for having gotten the opportunity to address to someone as competent as you were. Thank you, Palm and I can only hope we may chat again; because I would like it and I recognize things are already complicated and troubling enough to not want to come to 7 Cups and hope to interact with people like you. Thank you again and you are a really cool friend to people.
