Hello! I am so grateful you found me here at 7 Cups of Tea. I am a trained active listener, currently completing undergrad studies in counseling psychology and enough life experience to help those who have struggled as I have. I have learned to find beauty and peace in almost anything. My struggles during childhood include parental drug and alcohol abuse. After my parents divorced when I was eight I was immersed in various forms of multicultural and family dynamics. As a young adult I suffered through and survived a life threatening eating disorder. Most recently as an adult I know what is to struggling through infertility, on a positive note I am now a proud mother of two little boys who have given me my chance to redo my childhood and it has been amazing every step of the way! On a tough note my whole family is still struggling as my spouse experiences combat related PTSD. “ I believe in resilience, mindfulness, and the simply the need to find humanity in knowing you are never alone with your struggle”.
