In my 2 years as a crisis hotline volunteer, I have received extensive training and provided hundreds of hours of nonjudgemental, supportive listening to many callers from all different walks of life. I recognize that there are often barriers to people seeking professional help, so building a strong culture of peer support is very important to me.

I have struggled a lot in my life with anxiety, ADHD and emotional dysregulation. I have reached a point at which I feel comfortable offering support to others dealing with these issues, but I also enjoy speaking with people whose experiences are different from my own.
