My name is Carmichah Jean, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts with 7 years of experience in the mental health field in positions ranging from an outpatient clinician, clinical intern, behavioral health care coordinator, aftercare coordinator, and a mental health specialist vocational counselor. I have worked with clients who possess a variety of mental health and substance use diagnoses ranging from depression, alcohol dependence, and other related substances, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and intellectual limitations. In addition, I have serviced clients with career-related concerns, intimacy issues, lack of
self-esteem, and those who are emotionally withdrawn. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, compassionate, and supportive. I showcase this by utilizing techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness therapy, and solution-focused therapy in treatment modalities such as individual therapy, group therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy.

I am a firm believer that we all deserve happiness and the proper psychological tools to live a fulfilling and enjoyable life. Part of this stems from loving and believing in yourself.
