I have just recently (today in fact) quit my job as I was very unhappy, and while I do regret not finding another job first, I do believe I made the right decision. Always follow your heart when it comes to happiness!

It takes courage to leave any job and its security. Although working/doing something you don't like or enjoy is a complete waste of your precious time in life. Try to ask yourself 'What would I do with my time if money were no object?' and then do what you think of.

From personal experience, I learned to stick around for a bit and if things don't start getting better then quit

If your job makes you feel bad about yourself and about your life I think you should quit it. Doing something that makes you unhappy will not make your life any better. Choose something you like to do and I can guarantee you that you will become so much happier

Do you need income? It may not make sense to quit immediately, but it's never a bad idea to explore other options. Some jobs are horrible but help get you to a future goal. If this is the case for you, figure out ways to focus on why you chose this path.

In my personal opinion, no one should be tied to something he doesn't like or appreciate. This call freedom and "no one can take away this from you".
However , is always good to look for the reason you don't like and what do you want to change, so you will be more clear in what you really want. ;)

I would continue with the job but at the same time, keep looking for other jobs, because your income would drop.

If you have a better offer in hand or a better safety plan you can quit when you feel like. Make sure you won't suffer from financial instability etc for sometime. Even when you are leaving the current job, don't do it in bad taste. Try maintaining cordial relationship with your current colleagues and employers.

What you should do is up to you! But there are lots of options here. Maybe you could think about some reasons why you don't like your job anymore. Can you change them and keep working in a reasonably stress free environment? Or if this job is so stressing, is it worth staying? If it's impeding your work or daily functioning, maybe it's time to leave. I know this is something we don't like to think about, but what about the money? Do you need it? Or could you stop working for awhile and still reasonably feel secure? Can you look for another job before you quit? See what's out there- maybe there's a better job waiting for you right around the corner!

if your job isn't making you happy, what's the point in doing it? you only get one chance to live your life so you should live it doing something that makes you happy.

It depend on a lot of things. First, do you need a job at all? I mean, do you need a job for a living or you can do without for some time? Second, do you have any other job available so you can start there once you quit from this one? And third, does it affect your life? Like, you dislike it that much that it stresses you out and makes you feel emotionally bad? Cause if so, you should quit.

Do not quit your job yet but think about what would you like to do in the future . Take advantage of security you have now to prepare for change . Make a plan and follow it : studying in your spare time, practicing for the job you want to do. Take small steps to achieve your goal and when you feel confident with your skills, start to actively seek a new job, do interviews, send your resume... Don't stop and don't settle .

talking with a freidn You need to stop and take a look at the reason that you don't like your job. Is It an issue of Co-Workers? The Work it's self? The Wage? Location? you need to take a moment to decide if these are things you can actively change. If not then switching jobs may be something to think about.
Before you quit your current job you have to consider being able to support yourself of course. If you can manage it It's usually best to try and have a new job lined up before you quit your other job.

Logic...lets do this...if you dont like it, it causes worry, worry leads to stress, essentially affecting your health if left alone, and there's not much to be done if you don't like the job anyway. Do something you love. Anything ks achievable if you work. Listen to iggy azaleas song 'work' listen to the lyrics. ;) good luck xx

You should spend your time doing something that you enjoy and makes you want to get out of bed in the mornings. Have a look at new job opportunities that you think you will enjoy before quitting your current one so that you can secure something with as little financial difficulty as possible, and you can start being happier in what you do.
