It depends on what job you are speaking of. Is it a job around the house, a job you are doing for someone else or a job to where you are providing for yourself or others. But the best thing you can do is to always try to do the best job that you can do and put the effort in that you know you need to. And follow up with the work you put in. Ask questions if you need.

Well, this leaves me to ask you: "what does a well enough mean, and/or look like"? And is that realistic? Your goals should be S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time bound). If you done the above, then you tried your best! Be easy on yourself!

What is your measurement? If you are comparing yourself to someone else and you have not taken time to come up with what YOU want the outcome to be, it might be time to start. Do not base your out comes on what others want and expect for your life, take it one motion at a time and try to figure out your goals for yourself and what you want it to look like. "well enough" is a construct that someone set FOR you a long time ago. Think outside of that box and discuss with yourself what you are comparing it to and if that stress is helping or harming you.
