Devise a plan and stick to it, making sure to include regular short breaks. Prioritise your work, even if something is harder but more important, don't ignore it because it seems easier to.

In my opinion, the most important aspect of time-management in project work is giving yourself leeway. If you're keen on working on a project sooner than days before the deadline, it is important that you give yourself more time than you would actually need, such that you can account for any unexpected speedbumps along the way. Normally, I would give myself 1.5 hours for something that can be completed in an hour. That way, I can either use the 1/2 hour to rest or to complete another part of the project. This helps to keep my morale high because you would feel way more satisfied if you were to complete an assignment earlier than scheduled

Something I do when I find out I have a project is I find out what the nature of the project is, and the deadline...Then I make a time-frame of when I'd like part 1 to be done, part 2, etc. Then also give myself a couple of extra days before the deadline to ensure that everything is completed and to my satisfaction. With this, it's good to keep a schedule and set aside time for a project where you only focus on the project. Working on it pieces at a time makes for a less-stressful time.

Hi and welcome to 7 cups of tea. Do you think you could make a timetable and do some each week? That way even if you do just a small amount each week, say for half and hour each evening or maybe a longer session one night a week you will soon see the work needed on your project decreasing.

Do the easiest/ most fun parts of the project as soon as you get it and write down the 3 things that will be the hardest to do and plan when those things should be done by. Then take a break and do something else and start brainstorming so the next time you sit down to do work you have thoughts ready. Then get each thing done by your set deadline and leave the last night to bring it all together and put the real finishing touches. You'll find that you feel so much less stressed when you have a good amount of time to think before doing something.

Make sure you "plan" and "prioritize" what you need beforehand. Planning and preparing are key to a successful start and finish.

break down the project into many to-do points (in a list form) and have deadlines for each task, these deadlines are made by you. Then make a list of things you enjoy doing (fun stuff). put both lists together (work and fun stuff lists), make sure you do the work first by the deadline then you can happily have the reward (fun list) and so on. if you can do it urself get your parents or friends to help.

Try and start it the moment you get it, even if it's just a plan. When noting down the due date also try putting the deadline for the week before that way you are looking at the earlier due date and are aiming to finish it by then and then you have a whole extra week to finish anything that you didnt previously finish or fix a few things up

Make it your intention to do so. And make a plan of small things you will do each day leading up to the deadline. For example if you have at read a book that is 500 pages and it is due in days, make a goal to read 84 pages a day (500/6) and on the due date read nothing. Even focus on something totally unrelated to the project.

As soon as you receive the assignment/project details, map out what you have to do. Create chunks of tasks to be done on different days. Then implement your plan and follow through.
