When you have no previous work experience, you can't expect to start out in a high paying job, but it is completely possible to get a job when you have no previous experience. when applying, be positive. don't make any negative statements. Let them know all the great qualities you have and show them your true personality. If you are willing to learn, alot of places are willing to give you a shot!

Think about the jobs you are interested in and which you feel you are capable of doing. Remember sometimes it is not necessarily about the work experience but things you may have done which have trained you in skills you will need for the job. For example, if you are going into a job which requires good customer service, you are more than likely going to need communication skills - think back to something you have done in the past which shows you have good communication skills. Maybe you have a hobby or help out with events or something - that shows ability to work as part of a team and at the same time use your own initiative. You may find that some places are willing to train you for the job itself, as whether you have experience in a particular field of work or not, new employers will want to show someone how it works in that company or role. If not, take it as a learning curve, work your way up to the job you are looking for by getting experience in similar roles which may pay less but will give you the experience. I hope this helps.

A lot of places are willing to train you! Ask around, see who's hiring. Tell them that you're willing to learn new things :)

You can always go online and search in your local areas for workplaces who are willing to take people in. Also, if you have no work experience, you could tell the job that you wish to apply to that its your first job so you may need extra assistance, a mentor etc.. so they'd gladly help! Plus, you'd be getting in some cash too :)

Look for entry level positions that you'd be interested in. A good start would be with an employment agency.

When I was applying for my first job, I was turn down a lot because I needed previous experience. It seemed backwards to me, but I understand. I was finally hired because I did a lot of volunteer work and I put it on my resume, and though it was not a job, it was definitely experience, and it was done for free. Even though you have no previous work experience, perhaps put down any volunteer work, school positions, references from people you have done anything for, etc.

Submit as many applications as you, even to jobs you think you wont get. You never know! Focus on the good qualities about yourself, instead of just the fact that you havn't had a job before. Talk about how youre honest and work hard. Think about what you do have, instead of what you dont.

After selecting a specific job, train yourself on the skills required by that job, maybe you can also shadow someone who has the same job to gain experience, if its a technical job, build a portfolio of projects, then go ace that interview with confidence :) , you will have a better chance this way than going in as naked as Tarzan :D
