What has stopped you getting into that school to start with, was it exam results? Finances? you need to look at what has stopped you and then change that. Life is not a race, you dont need to get in or do something as soon as possible. If you can take an extra exam to get the marks then do that, if you need money, try to save, get funding! There is nothing stopping you but yourself! You need to look at what you need to get it and then go get it!

If you have your heart set on entering the medical profession, check if there are alternatives in the same field. Doctors are not the only people who help others. Consider training as a nurse. Also, really look at your motivation for wanting to get into medical school -are there similar things to what you were looking for in other professions? Keep your options open.

I understand that trying to get into a medical school can be challenging. You could most likely try to get a job somewhere with a Bachelor's Degree and continue studying so you can get into Med School the next year.

Chances are, if you are trying to get into med school, you have a background in biology, chemistry, or both. Become a scientist or researcher. Become a nurse, nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist, or pharmacist. Look up jobs that you could enjoy with out medical school, do them. And if becoming a doctor is what you really want then continue to apply to medical school. If at first you don't succeed, try try again. Do you think Thomas Edison gave up when he tried to make a Light bulb and it didn't work the first time?

There are many ways into anything, and just because you didnt get in this time doesnt mean you wont ever. Try again elsewhere, if its your dream, then it will happen as long as you have motivation and drive to achieve it.

I can't even imagine how disappointing it could be to not get into medical school if that is what you want to do with your life. But, there are other options and this is not the end of the road for you in terms of entering the field of medicine. You could try for a nursing program. You'd have to look around and see which program fits your best interests. You could also look into being a Physician's Assistant (PA). They perform many of the same duties of a doctor without having a title. Being a PA is actually quite appealing to people who want to enter medicine but not necessarily want to be a doctor. Hope this helps!
