I went through years and years of not knowing that answer. I was always waiting for just the right time, and to be honest that right time never really came. I realized that I had to to just go for it. I tried to better myself and failed, then I gained nothing but didn't lose anything. If I learned anything at all then it was a success. The right time is when you feel like trying.

That's an interesting question. I think that your coming here to ask that question is a good indication that you are INDEED READY to begin to better yourself. Perhaps you can start small....make a new positive habit. Break a bad habit. Learn something new. Look for a free class online or at a local technology school to help with self awareness and ways to improve yourself and your life. Perhaps you can sit down and write down the things that you want to improve about yourself and then prioritize that list.....and then get to work without putting too much on yourself so that you get discouraged and frustrated. Make a diary of sorts and track your own progress for those days when you feel like you can't see how far you've come. You're ready and you can do it!

There is no definite answer for that. I personally don't know what you might be going through, and do understand that life is hard. The classic answer is "Now", and sadly, I have to agree with that. There's no "appointed time" that's there waiting for us to make ourselves better. Though life might be hard, I would suggest you to process your feelings first (assuming you're feeling overwhelmed), talk to someone of your close friends, or to any of the listeners here, and after addressing your feelings, you can start working on yourself. It is never too late to start.
