If you are sleeping too much it could mean a variety of different things. To start off some people need different amounts of sleep based off their body and what their body feels it needs to re energize. So according to your body and your health the moment of sleep that you need can be different. Also over sleeping can be signs of not getting enough sleep at other times, an abnormal amount of stress, depression, and some other things. If you are very worried about it you can contact your doctor and ask them about how much sleep is right for you and what you can do to gain better sleep habits.

Sleeping too much could mean a number of things, you're body could be tired from lack of sleep causing you to sleep more than normally or sleeping too much as well could also point to signs of depression.

Depends what you mean by "too much," your age, health and on what's going on in your life right now. Normal recommended amounts for a healthy adult are about 6-8 hours per night, but there's plenty of reasons you might need more or less than that.

There are a number of reasons you could be sleeping too much. This could be stress, depression, lack of sleep, too much sleep, irregular sleep schedule, etc... You may want to check with yourself and see of there is something bothering you or if you are just not motivated to get up in the morning. Think about your sleep schedule and think about how your days are treating you prior to those long hours of sleep. Somewhere along the lines you could find the reason by mapping out your sleep in a little more detail.

Sleeping more than normal can mean many things. It can sometimes mean that you need to sleep and are exhausted. It can sometimes be something even more serious. Sleeping too much can sometimes be an indication that something is seriously wrong with your health. It depends on how much you're sleeping though. If it is really extreme, like maybe more than 10 - 12 hours a day, you may contact a doctor. But it could also just mean that your body needs to refill the energy often.
