Hi there, thank you for reading my bio. My name is Amy and I have been a LMFT in California for over 12 years and in mental health for the last 22 years. I started doing 7cups because I believe everyone should have access to therapy in way that works for them. Not every person can sit in a therapists office, or in front of a screen. Sometimes people can better express themselves in written form. I utilize a strength based approach in working with people and really try and understand their situation. Using these perspectives has helped me because more successful in those I work with. I look forward to working with you. Please note that this is not face to face therapy but therapy done via text/chat. I am unable to offer Face to face at this time.
