You might be depressed. You might be stressed out. You might be not getting enough exercise.
If you are taking medication, this could be a side effect.
In any case, if you are sleeping way too much, you should consult a professional to find out why this might be.

You're trying to avoid life and you don't see a meaning in it. You would much rather spend time in bed alone without having to leave it. It could also mean that you are anxious about having interactions with other people.

It could mean many things. People sleep a lot when they are exhausted; physically ill; stressed or depressed to name but a few. It may be worth seeking advice from a health care professional if you are worried, as it really isn't a simple answer. I would tend to avoid 'googling' the answer as you may worry yourself unnecessarily. I hope that you find your answer :)

Personally, I love sleep. I think sleeping is great, sometimes a great way to escape some of the realities of the world and let the mind wander off and dream in peace.
Physically - when I sleep too much, I end up feeling even more tired and subsequently try to sleep more to work it off, which I don't think works very well.
Emotionally - I choose sleep because it seems to lay things to rest. Give the soul a break.
Sleep doesn't kill you but perhaps there might be something that makes you want to sleep a lot?
